The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program(MPNP) has a host of immigration routes to help foreign individuals to get Canada permanent residence. It is specially meant to woo immigrants, including agricultural entrepreneurs, skilled workers, recent graduates, and workers in areas facing an acute workforce shortage.

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream—This stream is meant for qualified, skilled foreign workers residing outside Canada but can show strong ties with Manitoba. A points-based process is used for the assessment of individuals based on age, education, language proficiency, adaptability, and work experience. It has two routes–

- Express Entry Pathway
Business Investor Stream—Business Investor Stream (BIS) involves two streams for those having experience in business management and ready to set up a new business venture in Manitoba.
- Manitoba Entrepreneur pathway—For general entrepreneurs having business proposals in different sectors.
- Manitoba Farm Investor pathway—For entrepreneurs who are in the farming sector.
International Education Stream—Recent graduates who have successfully graduated from any Manitoba post-secondary institute and have business management experience or work experience from Manitoba (either after their graduation or during study program as their internship).
